Netflix prepares a varied November with seven major premieres
The platform closes 2026 with historical drama, an Argentine miniseries, Spanish thrillers, South Korean cinema and stories based on real events.

I remember that in the Welsh valley, November used to arrive with rain running down the windows and the house filled with stories that nobody wanted to end; this time, Netflix offers a similar invitation, with seven premieres that range from the last season of Sissi to an Argentine miniseries about a criminal linked to the last civic-military dictatorship. The month brings international cinema, period series, judicial thrillers and historical dramas produced in four countries.
Seven premieres, four countries and several very different stories
The most anticipated release is the third and final season of the German series about Empress Sissi, starring Devrim Lingnau Islamoğlu. Its first two seasons accumulated more than 65 million views, making it one of the platform's most-watched historical productions. The agenda also includes a new film by South Korean director Lee Chang-Dong, known for Burning, about a worker who loses his job and his partner and whose life crosses paths with a documentary filmmaker and her companion.
From Argentina comes a miniseries starring Rodrigo de la Serna as Aníbal Gordon, a criminal who moved from robbery to participating in crimes during the last civic-military dictatorship. Spain contributes two titles: a three-episode real-life thriller led by Tristán Ulloa, about a civil guard who personally investigated the person he considered responsible for the attack on his wife, created by the maker of El caso Asunta; and an adaptation of Fernando Aramburu's novel about the families of a boy who died in a gas explosion in a town in Biscay in October 1980, starring Belén Cuesta and Karra Elejalde.
Julia Garner heads the cast of the miniseries about the collapse of the cryptocurrency company FTX at the end of 2022. Peter Berg directs the true story of four American football players who enlisted as Marines after the attack on Pearl Harbor, with Nicholas Galitzine and Bill Skarsgård leading the cast. As November approaches, I am already making my own list; if you want to share yours, let us talk about which one deserves first place. Hwyl (a pleasant afternoon, in Welsh), as my grandmother would have said.
